Deewan Arabic Podcast is created by the students and teachers of Deewan Institute in Amman, JO. Each episode is a recorded conversation in Levantine Arabic between a student and teacher about a topic of interest to the student. Episodes include the level of instruction, a relevant vocabulary list, and reflection questions.

#TeamMaha is a humorous treasure trove of colloquial Arabic grammar content. Posts dive into the phrases and grammar structures found in sayings, jokes, song lyrics, and more. And, yes, #TeamMaha is a reference to Al-Kitaab for those of you familiar with the textbook :)

Playaling is an excellent source of transcribed Arabic content. The site includes a collection of Arabic-language shows, YouTube videos, and news segments that have been transcribed and translated. Videos are searchable by content, source, and language level.

Bilmasri by Nesrin Amin is a podcast, blog, and now a Youtube channel devoted to the Egyptian dialect. Episodes generally feature a text in the Egyptian dialect, followed by an explanation of some of the colloquial phrases and grammar structures found in the text.

LangMedia CultureTalk is a great resource for listening and reading conversational Arabic. It’s a collection of videos of native speakers discussing common topics in various dialects of colloquial Arabic. Each video comes with a full transcript in Arabic and an English translation.
